Update!

It's been a long time since I have update the computer world! Since training in Squamish/Vancouver with Maelle Ricker and Rob Fagan, I have been snowboarding a lot!

I headed to Hintertux, Austria for a 2 week training camp in late October to November, We rode on a course for the first time of the year, lots of jumping and even some pre-season pow pow!

Then our plan was to head up to North B.C to Powder King for a training camp before our first event in Lech, Austria in the beginning of December. But due to warm weather we canceled that camp and decided to head back to Hintertux a week before the event in Lech.

Lech being the first World Cup or the season went really well for me and the Canadian team! I am riding really strong. With back to back events in Lech there was little time for resting and I had to come in to the event rested and strong. qualifying 15th for the night final was real exciting. I made some poor decisions in the race, but that will come with more experience. The next day I qualified 11th!! showing great potential in the race I was unable to pass a French rider, I was riding smart but not smart enough. results were 19th and 18th. Placing very consistently is my goal.

After riding in Lech I was really stoked on what I was able to accomplish and now know what I am able to produce.

Right after Lech I traveled down to Telluride, Colorado! for once again another World Cup.

Riding very strong in training, unfortunately was unable to qualify for the main event. Learning from my mistakes Ill turn it into a positive by not making the same mistake twice.

Thanks to friend and fellow competitor Alex "Chumpy" Pullin, Not wanting to race the team event due to sickness. He gave me the opportunity to race in the team event the day following the race. The event went real well, I had a tough heat to start off the day but managed to race into 2nd for my heat. But after the second heat Canada 3 (my team with Matt Tunnicliffe) did not advance to the next round.

After some much needed rest and family time over Christmas I decided to recover with some good Revelstoke Pow.

Now I headed down to Copper Colorado for a small cash event to keep me sharp and ready to race again!

Check back for some updates, I promise this time it will be soon!
