After a great training session down in Copper Mtn, we headed up to Mt. Hood, Oregon for back to back Nor-am racing. The first day went really well, Qualifying behind Shaun Palmer and placing in 2nd, I rode well and right into 1st place for day one!
Day two qualifying went as well as I hoped with posting the fastest time! Rolling into finals i was once again paired with team mate and great friend Jake Holden, Bobby Minghini, and Kevin Leahy. With a bit of a tangle up between Jake and Kevin, that let Bobby and I duel it out to the finish. With the soft snow conditions and wet weather i was unable to pass Bobby. Giving him a run for his money I was left with second place.
Satisfied with this US of EH trip I'll be heading home tomorrow with some cash and confidence heading into the next World Cups!
